The manor house was built in the 16th century, with later additions and improvements in the 18th century. Construction is of local limestone The house belonged to the Godailh family until 1971, when it was acquired by the present owners.
It is located on edge of a plateau, from which it commands panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. A number of hilltop chateaus and ancient fortified villages can be seen from the terrace.
Access is by means of a private road, through surrounding woodland. The site is secluded, yet easily within reach of local amenities.
